Took some time today to assemble the second Scotia Grendel ATAC APC that I purchased. The first was quite easy to clean and assembled but the second is a mess. It almost looks like it was cast by another company. The undercarriage has numerous fills and blobs of resin, the top deck of the APC has a crease across it and it has taken a considerable amount of work to clean up.
I am going to have to add stowage and some “battle damage” to cover up the flaws in the vehicle. It is rather odd since the first kit was great. Not even sure how this made it past quality control to be honest.
Thankfully my painting is bad enough that it should cover the flaws up :-)
