Three more vessels are done and ready to get spray varnish. I have to remember to do that at some point. Two more Kzinti vessels (a Light Cruiser and a Destroyer) and a Seltorian CA.
The Seltorian models are really rough. It is not a casting issue but a sculpting problem. They are just not very well made. The engines are attached to the main hull with what appears to be sections of green stuff and you can see where they have been quickly ‘smoothed’ and pushed into the detail of the engines. They are probably the worst models in the 2400 range. I have twelve of the models that I got at a steep discount and I will definitely only be buying from Shapeways in the future. Yuck.
