I need to establish a few colour patterns before I get into painting troops. Probes are a great way to do that.
I painted up two Boromite Spotter probes, three Concord probes and two Borer probes. The Boromite models are blue and orange which are the same colours as the Work Crews that I painted previously. The Concord probes are in blue and German Grey. I want to use a darker grey for the armour for the Privateers and this will look good but not be too dark so that it won’t take a wash.
Next I am going to try to paint up a weapon crew and weapon.
